When we consider the symbolism of flowers in Thailand I'm instantly drawn to that of the Lotus Flower. A traditionally Buddhist symbol the Lotus Flower has numerous meanings. Ponds, puddles, ditches by the roadside, they can even be found in jars on the door step or positioned on the top pillars in local temples.
